iPad - The Immediate Impact, PART I
What is it? Part 1 is a candid, yet insightful, 30 min screencast exploring the simplicity of the design of Apple's iPad- and why it is a lot more than content consumption. Find out why the iPad is essentially an 'any-posture, any-phase' device. Based on the design itself, we can anticipate more 'Avatars' and all kinds of peripherals.
Later in Part II, (soon) we will see which apps are best suited for the iPhone and those for the iPad, and the workflows which are already applicable now, even on an iPodTouch.
For Whom? Anyone curious about whether or not the iPad is for them, will get a fundamental idea of the scope and possibilities. Is it worth the money? or rather how it could be worth, as the iPad usage patterns are limited only by your own imagination. Any user or investor in this platform should be aware why Apple believes it is revolutionary, rather than just evolutionary (which was how most of us reacted upon the announcement on Jan 27, 2010).
